Our commitment
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA on every page of rmgsupplies.com. WCAG is the standard most laws and courts refer to, and Level AA is the level most organizations are expected to meet.
What we have done
- Every page has one main heading, a logical heading order, and a skip link to the main content.
- Everything on the site works with a keyboard alone, and the element with focus is always visible.
- Images and icons have text alternatives, or they are marked as decorative so that screen readers skip them. The service area map on the vending page has a written description of the area and every town it shows.
- Text keeps a contrast ratio of at least 4.5 to 1 against its background, including on the dark sections.
- Text can be resized and the page can be zoomed. Nothing blocks pinch zoom on phones.
- Animation is minimal, and it stops when your device asks for reduced motion. Nothing plays automatically.
- Each language version declares its language, so screen readers pronounce it correctly, and you can switch language from the menu at the top of every page.
- The site uses plain HTML and CSS with a small script for the language preference. Every page works with JavaScript turned off.
- There are no forms, no pop-ups, no third-party widgets, and no tracking scripts.
What we know is not perfect
- The service area map is a drawing. On small screens it shows fewer town names to stay readable, and the written description is the complete version.
- We have not yet commissioned an independent audit, and we have not tested the site with every screen reader. We check it ourselves against the guidelines and with keyboard-only use.
- Links to LinkedIn, to marketplaces like Amazon, and to your email program lead to sites and software we do not control.
